If you have an injury, rest and relax. Let your body heal itself.
Use an ice pack. Put a dry towel around the ice pack and place it on the injured area for around 7-10 minutes. Make sure the ice pack isn’t too cold.
If you have a knee injury, for example, you can buy a compression sock and bring it over your knee to help compress and reduce the swelling.
If you have an infected injury or area, you need to elevate it above the heart.
